I spent the next three days at home, helping Orsty with whatever I could. On the second day Orsty ask if I would help an old man, and do the work in the garden. I said sure and ask him what needed to be done, and he told me the weeds needed to be dug out and the rows hilled.
I went to the tool shed and stripped naked, because I had enjoyed working in the mining pit naked. I got the hoe and a claw rake, then went to work in the garden. I had been working for about two hours, when Orsty brought me some water. He ask about my being naked, and I told him I preferred working naked since being in the mine pit. He told me to watch out for the sun, and I told him I had a 35 sunscreen on.
When lunch time came, Orsty served lunch on the back porch since I was naked. After lunch I went back to work in the garden, and worked for about three hours. I then went in and took a shower before our evening meal.
I got dressed and joined Orsty in the kitchen, and he put me to work helping him get thing ready. When Araway came home in a good mood, he said there were no problems all day. Orsty laughing said that was because he had kept me busy all day. Araway said i did better with Orsty than I did Kwaku, and that keeping me at home might be the best. I protested saying that I liked being at the mine, and Orsty said I think we know why.
We had our supper, and our usual conversation about our day. I then helped Orsty in the kitchen, and we then went to the back porch. We had our usual refreshments and talked about nothin in particular. Then it was off to bed.
