Once Orsty and I had finished preparing the meal, I informed Araway and Ben. We all sat around eating, with an occasional conversation. It was mostly Araway and his praise of Ben, he had really become impressed with Ben’s knowledge. He was impressed with Ben’s grasp on the mining business, and his knowledge on the whole operation.

Once we had finished our dinner, and Orsty and I started cleaning up things, Ben and Araway sat down in the living room, and continued their conversation. Orsty just looked at me and smiled, and commented on my friend Ben being a big hit with Araway. I just shook my head. I have to admit I was feeling a little jealous of Ben and Araway’s time together.

By the time Orsty and I had cleaned up the kitchen, it was time for Ben to leave for the mine. We said our good byes and watched Ben leave. Araway then turned and said to Orsty and me, that he hoped we hadn’t worn Ben out since he was having to work that night. Orsty and I didn’t say anything, we just looked at each other.

We went to our rooms to get ready for bed. I took a quick shower, then rapped a towel around my waist, and headed for the back porch. I always like to sit outside in the evening, and listen to the sounds of the night. This night I sat there watching some kind of animal, roaming around near the garden. It was too far away to identify in the dark.

A little later Orsty joined me on the porch, and he had brought some juice and fruit with him. He handed me a glass of juice and a plate of fruit. We just sat there enjoying the night air, and the refreshments Orsty had brought. When Araway put in an appearance, and ask if he always had to come and tell us to go to bed.

Orsty just laughed and said, as soon as we have finished with our fruit.

We sat there and talked for awhile, and finished our fruit. Then we both said goodnight, and went to our rooms. I took my towel off, and flexed while looking in the mirror. I was really pleased with the way I looked, and thanked Kwaku for his work. I then crawled into bed, and was soon fast asleep.
