The next morning I went to the kitchen to help Orsty with breakfast. We picked up on our conversation of the previous night. Orsty ask if I was going to tell the others, wher I had been and what I had been doing. I told him that I wasn’t going to tell where and what I had been doing. Since Ben was the night guard, I thought it best not to mention, that I had been working with Ben at his house. That it might upset Kwaku, and possibly some of the others.

After arriving at the mine with Araway, I went to the elevator, stripped naked, and then road the elevator down to the mining pit. I found the overseer, and he gave my working location. I went to the location expecting to see Waziz, who had managed to keep being assigned with me for work. But instead I found someone new, who had been transferred from the other mine. He said he had been transferred yesterday, to help while someone was recovering from an accident

I ask him his name, and he told me his name was Komla. He thin ask me my name, and I told him Zac. He looked at me closely, and said he didn’t see many mixed race slaves. I didn’t say anything, and just let the subject drop, I didn’t want to try and explain everything to him. He said he noticed my slave brand was deep, and with very little scaring. He showed me his slave brand, and it was not as deep and was filled in with scar tissue. He said he could tell that I hadn’t been a slave very long, and I didn’t say anything.

Komla then handed me the shovel, and said he would be using the pickaxe only, but said I could shovel when the time came. So I took the other.pickaxe, and joined him in digging. When the ore cart came around, I had to drop the pick and start shoveling the ore into the cart. He watch me for a couple of minutes, then commented on my strength. A couple of times he slapped me on my butt, and complemented me on my work. We took a break, and he brought some water over to me. While I was drinking the water, he started rubbing on my butt. I didn’t stop him, but I guess I should have, because he started talking about what a great ass I had. I just thanked him, and went back to work.

When lunch time came, I hurried to the eating shelter, and got my food. I then joined.Kwaku on the bleachers to eat, and to explain why I had not been there the day before. I told him I just had somethings that I had to get done. That seemed to satisfy him, and he didn’t ask me anymore questions. He just said how much he had missed me, and was glad we could get back to our workout at the end of the day.

I noticed Komla staining at Kwaku and I, while we were eating. Just before we went back to work, he came over and introduced himself to Kwaku. I left the two of them talking, and went after more water. When I returned Kwaku had a big smile on his face, and Komla had gone for more water. Kwaku kept smiling at me, then he rubbed my butt. I ask him what was going on, and he rubbed my butt again. He laughed and said I had a new potential partner. He said Komla had ask him if the two of us were partners, and he had told Komla no we weren’t partners. He smiled real big at me, and said he was sure Komla was interest in me as a potential partner. I didn’t say anything, but went back to work.

I continued to get Komla’s attention, and had my butt rubbed quite often the rest of the day. We worked until the overseer came and told me it was time for my workout with Kwaku. I quickly made my way to the wrestling mats, and my workout with Kwaku

Kwaku said we needed to make up for yesterday,, so we got into our wrestling without delay. He put me through a very strenuous workout, and we fell down on the shower platform. Soon the overseer came and turned on the water, then hosed us both down. I then headed to the elevator, and made my way to the top. I quickly got dressed, and joined the Doctor in his office. I waited there, talking with the Doctor, until Araway came, then we drove to the house.
