It was a typical morning for me Johnny Baxtor. Im 18 and milk chocolate black and 5'9 with big brown light eyes. It was only 7:30am and school didnt start until 8:00am. I looked up and there was my boyfriend Dan.  I was scared to death! Why? "Are you ok baby?" He asked which sounded sincere.

"Im fine,but its time we broke up this is the fifth time you hit me this week and its only Thursday!" I screamed at him.  I had to be carful because he could go from sad to mad in a second, but he just stared at me like I was stupid.  Good thing we were at school,yet even though I was late, guess I will just ditch first period and wait for second to start. I got out the car and started walking towards the school; when I felt Dan grab my arm and pull me back towards the car.

He grabbed me by the neck and held a gun to my head, and stared at me with eyes filled with anger. "I love you, but do you really think im just going to let you go so easily!" He screamed and pulled the trigger. I heard a click, and closed my eyes thinking this was the way im gonna die.

I open my eyes and there he is standing, looking at me with a smile. "You know I would never hurt you baby. " He said while laughing.

"I know; lets go to class now" I said hugging his body.

When we got into the school, there was 30 minutes left, so we headed to the bathroom.  I wanted to cover up the mark he left on my face from the punch this morning with some of my make up. "So what was this morning about, you and that guy?" Dan whispered.
"Well he just stopped to say hi and asked me why I was standing outside in the cold" I whispered back.
"Oh well if I see him, I will apologize, and im going to start working on my anger for you baby" he paused and wiped a tear from his eyes.
"Because I cant imagine my life without you.  Please dont leave me, give me a second chance I can be better" he said then got up and told the teacher he needed a minute.

I felt bad; maybe he really does need me.  I didnt chase after him, instead I stayed in class thinking about Dan.  The rest of the morning flew fast, I didnt see Dan, which worried me because all our class are together. It was time for lunch, and thats when I saw Drew.  He was standing by a big tree behind the lunch area, so I walked up to him with a smile.

"Hey Drew, sorry about what happened this morning!" I said.  Drew turned around and in that minute my heart broke.  Drew had the most terrified look on his face, which made me feel worst.

"STAY AWAY FROM!!" He shouted at me.
"Whats wrong?" I asked surprised.
"I dont want your boyfriend to see us together!" He whispered.
"Its ok, he said he going to get help.  Dont worry!" I spoke calmly, not wanting him to know I wasnt to sure about that.

"Ya right, after he knocked you out he said he was going to kill me.  He also had his friend Adam threaten me with a knife!" He said nervously looking around.

"What! thats not going to happen he was just anger he hit me. " I said to Drew.
"You should just leave that guy!" He yelled as he ran away.

I turned around, and saw Dan walking towards me with a blank expression. I smiled at him, but I really was thinking what to tell him. "Hi I havent seen you all morning" I said with a smile.

"Hi baby I missed you.  What were you doing over here?" He asked.
"I was just talking to Drew about this morning. " I said.
"How is he, I mean is he ok"
"He fine just scared of you"
"Why?"
"Because you sent your friend to threaten him"
"Im sorry that was the old me"
"I told him that"
"Well baby lets get married"
