The Voice that Blew my Heart : Intro

**** Hello everyone, this is my first time writing a story because I've been inspired by the works of my favorite authors in this aGaySex.com site he he um any comments are appreciated enjoy!. There's no sex in this part hence the title but there will be.

Have you ever heard of stories, legends, myths of the creatures of beauty that dwells in the sea,  luring you in a sweet death with their otherworldly voices. I don't know how much of those are true but one things for sure I'm one of their bloodline.

My names Luke Labradorite Ashenberth and yes about the naming thing in our family there are always names of gemstones present in it,  my mother explained it to me why.

Long ago to the time before my grandparents there have been a power struggle between the two clans of water dwellers one is the mermaid naiads and the other is the black sirens. They have been co-existing with one another the two Kings preserved the peace with the power of the sacred stones freya and vromus but the chief of the black sirens returns to his eternal sleep, due to his passing his son took his place everything seemed well the following days but one night while everyone's asleep the black sirens attacked the mermaid naiads ambushing them and declaring that only one can rule everyone announced none other than Macrymose the new chief of the black sirens.

Our clan has been bombarded with heavy attacks but Chromulus being the King luckily activated the crystal runes in time creating a massive barrier but he knew it'll not stay long,  he's voice thundered to every naiads hurrying them to gather at the center of the castle everyone arrived then he immediately activated freya the stone shone with bright light enveloping everyone,  Machrymose penetrated the barrier and attempted to attack using vromus he released the power of vromus and collided with freya the two powers resonated and a massive explosion occurred dust and sand slowly subsiding as Machrymose searched for the naiads but everyone is gone,  he smiled devilishly and to his disappointment vromus is still shining and he knew that their not completely gone,  but he knew with the naiads gone he now rules the deep waters.

The lavishly bright light gently subsided as the naiads have awoken near the shore many of them are weakened Chromulus alertly searched for his wife and daughter he became distressed looking but a hand touched his back and he calmed down as he looked at the two smiling at him they hugged,  then freya shined everyone was startled as the weakened naiads body shined in resonance of the stone then became compressed turning into a ball of light and absorbed by freya everyone starts to panic then Lumen as the oracle told everyone to calm down as her eyes shined she ushered a few words that say's the time will come when the naiads will return to the sea and live happily once more so for now the naiads who were absorbed will just sleep for now when the time comes for all of us can return to our home,  then before the light vanish she said one will be born with the power to change fate bearing the power of freya with that the stone's light faded and the sacred stone vanished along with it.

Everyone was stunned then Lumen gently reached the shore and recited a few words her tail sparkled and turned into legs she turned to everyone much more shocked now and announced that they will live off shore and live on land before the promised time come,  everyone followed her and became one of the early pioneers of Driftwood Valley. In the bloodline of Chromulus every member must have a gemstone etched on to their name be it first or second to represent the never ending legacy of the naiads. But as time passes our people starts to forget and now enjoyed living in land.

And that's it now back to me I'm just your typical guy with messy brown hair with a streak of blue that i was born with that I cover up with a beanie I always wear glasses,  I stood at a height of 5'8 with a well toned body but in my case of shyness I always look a nerd with baggy pants and airy turtle neck that doesn't seem to fit my body and for my past I always read books hiding my self within it's pages not caring what people think of me,  I don't wanna cause trouble again when they see my true face I guess that's why I always get bullied but that's ok I can take it that's a small sacrifice to make.

But lately it seems that my heart has been pounding again for the second time I always ignore it but I'm falling in love again but is it right to fall for the guy who makes my life hell everyday.

Soon school will start again "oh how i wish i could transfer to a different school", I sighed leaning to our second floor balcony with the view of the ocean "well as much as I want to transfer to we can't, do you know how hard headed our grandfather can be plus the fact that he owns the school we attend...hhmmm I don't wanna think about it",  my cousin Jessie handing me a drink "seriously what's with this setting...Jessie I don't wanna go back to school", I said sipping my drink "we can't do anything about it Luke, but you still have the music club to look forward to me also he he",  she said cheekily "oh that's my only safe haven in there",  "But why aren't you singing anymore...you know your the best out of all of us naiads",  "...you know i can't sing in front of people again right".

I said gloomily "Oh hush up Luke you know your not the one at fault for what happened right,  you just sang for god sake we can't help it our voice just draw people in making them want us for themselves,  but were just in middle school then were to young to control our ability",  she said staring at me "...sorry but I'm not that ready yet",  "psshh but what can you say about the time your alone in the music theater huh?",  she said taunting me "HEY! that...that's- dang it that's nothing",  I grunted "ha ha well busted huh so enough about that but I'll be sure to wait for the time you'll sing again",  "I really can't win against you...",  "well about that how about I change your looks", she suggested "LEAVE IT!!",  we started laughing and the day ended with endless chatter.

Days passed and the new school term started,  I started walking in campus while reading a book when someone grabbed me form the back.

"Hello Luke had a great holiday",  I looked back nervously coming face to face with the most handsome guy on campus yet the most troublesome one "...h-hi Blake". My peaceful days would become nightmares again.
