Vampire Love : Part 1

I can see the world in every fine detail. I can sense everything that moves around me. I can hear the mockingbirds half a mile away. I can do these things because I am a vampire.

I was turned at the age of seventeen in 1901. I live with 4 other vampires; Matt my brother, Serena my mother and Marcus my father. They are not my real family obviously but we treat each other as family.

As a vampire we each have several abilities that are more advanced than a human; plus one unique power of our own. I have mind control, Matt has the ability to control any person's body. He can make them do things, cut off senses and make them feel pain. Marcus has insight. He can travel back in time, live in the present and predict the future. Serena can cast a shield. No power can affect her but she can move this shield around to create a barrier that protects us all.

Anyway I am 6'1 with a typical vampire physique. I have big arm muscles that are like a human football players' but they are deceiving; I am stronger than any human. I have defined features everywhere else around me. My face is sculptured. Everything about me was made perfect when I transformed. This is an added feature to lure prey to us. My skin is pale and gives off a warm glow. Again this is deceiving because I am freezing cold. My skin appears soft and fragile but a tank wouldn't be able to make a scratch on me.

All my family are like this too. Except for Matt. He must have been perfect before he got turned. He has twice the normal looks of a vampire. Everything about him is beautiful times two. He has lovely sized biceps and triceps. His pecs are awesomely defined and a defined-starting-to-fade six pack.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. "The truth is, I have always loved you, Matt! Not as a brother but more than a friend if you know what I mean."

"Well.... That was really unexpected." He said. He sounded shocked.

He got up and held out his hand to help me up. I was scared. I didn't know how he would react.

When I started to walk away I felt his hand on my shoulder I stopped and turned around. Suddenly his face was millimetres away from mine. I looked deep into his eyes and I could feel his cool breath against my mouth.

"What are you d..." I started.

"Shhh." He said. "Stay very still.

Slowly his face moved into mine. His lips lightly pressed into mine. We weren't quite kissing yet but our lips were slightly touching. Then I couldn't take it anymore. I pushed my lips into his.

I don't know what happened but the next second we were flying into a tree. He held me there with his arms either side of me. He passionately but wildly kissed me.

He took my hand and away we flew through the forest back home. I held his hand while we glided through the trees.

Marcus and Serena couldn't understand why we were both so happy the next few days. Me and Matt played our game twice a day since we first kissed.

We didn't dare tell our parents because same sex relationships aren't allowed in our vampire world.

The next day Marcus and Serena went hunting and would be away for a few days.

"You two be good and protect each other. Be aware of any nomads passing through and for goodness sake don't leave a trail for hunters!" Ordered Serena.

"See you guys" Marcus said.

Holding hands they flitted away through the forest.
