“Sorry just wanted to get a jump start on what we discussed Irina is at the docks with Darw and Calli well she is working the police angle.” Jason said.

“Thank you good morning to you too.” Josh said stretching up to find his lips I felt his razor fangs again.

“Shall we go out and enjoy the morning?” Jason said.
The sun had not risen yet it was still dark out. Jason sat on a bench pulling me into his lap I sat there and heard the morning birds out in the trees.

“This is nice it has been so long since I just sat out here and watch the sun rise.” Jason said.

“It has been so long since I actually sat in the company with others that I am just comfortable being here with you, it is something I want to cherish always.” Josh said.
There was a beeping then gears grinding I looked up and saw an owning slide over the top of the patio and windows come up the sides that were tinted to make the room almost black. I was watching just as the sun peaked over the horizon. Revealing the lake view, and the fog rolling off the lake, the view was something that was spectacular. It was one of those moments in life that just seemed to be awe inspiring and Jason was there to share it with me.

"Well it is an underground drug ring that has been working for years. According to reports in the file they have been working on getting the higher bosses tied to the smuggling and dealing. Nick was undercover in the ring as a dealer. They found out who he was and had him killed they cover their tracks very well but it was not enough Nick had evidence to tie them all together but failed to give the information." CallJosh said.

"What drug are they running?" I asked.

"Gods hand." CallJosh said.

"You mean to tell me that they are selling a vampire drug on the streets." Jason said.

"Yes that is what I am saying." CallJosh said.

"Gods hand, oh I thank I am going to be sick." Josh said pushing Jason's arms off me and setting my coffee down I ran into the bathroom.

I came back out. "Excuse me but if that is what I think it is then I am in deep shit. I remember one night that Nick took me out to a party I did not know it at the time but now it all fits. At the party Nick left me alone for a short time before I new it I was feeling wasted I had only had one beer but I felt completely wasted. Nick had taking me back to our place and watched me all night. In the morning I felt sick and stayed in bed all day. I figured that I just ate something but then Nick had told me that I was drugged he would not tell me what drug it was after that he went to work told me he be home early to check on me but he never came back." Josh said.

"How do you know about this drug then if Nick never told you?" CallJosh said.

"After I was told what happened to Nick I went out I just wanted to forget I went back to the club that Nick took me the night before. I had order a beer and went into the darkest corner of the club I sat there thinking why would someone kill me I must have had several drinks that night. After being there for a while a guy approached me and asked if I wanted to dance I told him to go away well he did not I was a little bussed at that point. It was not till I was spinning around the floor that I new something was not right. I managed to get away from him and to the restroom it was there that I was ambushed I was taken upstairs the of the club where their leader was. At the time they did not realize that I had began the sober up since I emptied my stomach. They began talking and before I realized it they stuck me with a needle and I blacked out I woke up the next morning outside my house in my car. I did not remember anything of the night before all I did remember was that Nick was gone and I needed to get a fix on something I did not care what I just needed to get it." Josh said.

I was at tears now and Jason pulled me close to him. The scent of leather and vanilla eased my mind that I stopped crying. Jason's shirt was soaked and I felt bad.

"I am sorry that you had to relive that." Jason said.

"So help me if I find those bastards that they will wish that they were dead." CallJosh said.

"Thank you, I think that I am going to take a break from finding out anything more now it is just too much." Josh said.

"If you are up for it I am going down to the gym here in the house. Would you like to join me?" Jason said.

"I would like that very much but I need to get something in my system and calm down first so that I don't lose myself in my thoughts." Josh said.

"Not a problem. How about brunch and a movie?" Jason said.

"Brunch and a movie I like the sounds of that." Josh said.

"I will leave you two to it, I will inform Irina and Darw of the situation and place an order in the kitchen for you." CallJosh said.

"Calli make the meal light please I am don't want to lose my lunch." Josh said.

"Will do, see you later then." CallJosh said as she left the room.

"Damn you seriously need to put a warning on the door or something." Irina said.

"Hi to you to Irina." Josh said sliding down from Jason's arms. I turned so I could lean against him so that he could protect me from my inner demons.

"So I got the down low on what went on Calli is working on getting the case reopened Darw is implicating himself as a buyer at the docks for god's hand. And I am making a list on who I am going to hurt for hurting my little brother." Irina said.

I smiled "Irina thank you so much." Josh said.

"Well the news from the dock is that shipments have been coming and going more and more mostly to Europe. I have a feeling that a house over there is looking for power and is growing in numbers." Irina said.

"Thank you Irina let me know when Darw gets in." Jason said.

"Will do I am off to plan some more and take care of a wardrobe." Irina said.

"Bye sis see you later." Josh said

Irina stopped at the door "later little brother." She said stepping out and closing the door.

"Now where were we." Josh said running my hands down the front of Jason's pants feeling the bulge.

Before we could act any more there was a knock on the door. "Master Jason its Kir I have yours and Master Josh's lunch." Kir said.

"Come in Kir." Jason called.

"Master Josh?" Josh said turning around to look at Jason.

"Yes you will be called that by the help here in the house they will not call you by anything else, I have tried for years asking them to call me simply Jason but they refuse better get use to it." Jason said.

"Thank you Kir." Josh said.

"I will be back to get what's left after a while. Have a good meal. Master Jason Master Josh." Kir said with a curtsy before going out the door.

"I thought I ask to keep it light." Josh said looking at the spread set on the table.

"For Calli that is light." Jason said.

" I see maybe I should be more specific next time." Josh said.
Jason laughed and we sat down in chairs at the table. The meal past I ate very little not wanting to really stuff myself food was something that I still was getting use too.

"Jason I want to ask you something." Josh said.

"Ask me anything you want." Jason said.

"How old are you?" I asked

"I am 674 I will be 675 in three months and two days." Jason said.

"I am young enough to be your son." Josh said.

"You are older than me when I was turned." Jason said laughing.

"Jason, Josh its Darw,Irina and Calli can we come in." Darw said.

"Yes just have a seat we will be out in a short." I called turning
back to Jason. "Love I need a shower would you like to join me?" Josh said.

"Love too." Jason said he got up and went to the bedroom door and shut it."A little privacy never killed anyone." He said.

I got up from the bed and went into the bathroom and turned on the shower. The was just getting hot when Jason came in. I removed my boxers I had on and slipped into the shower. "Damn! If I knew you were not with Jason there would be a fight in the house over you." CallJosh said.

"So what news have you brought?" I asked as Jason went and stood behind me and started brushing out my hair.

"The house of Gardum in Europe has been dealing in God's Hand and they are growing in numbers very fast. Their ranks have gone from 200 to 600 in the last year. The council has been keeping an eye on them for a better part of a year it seems that they think it is our
time to rule again." Darw said.

"Oh I bet that has put a stake in someone's side" Jason said.

"That is just the thing, no one wants to act the council says they have no reason to act there has not been any killings." Irina said.

"So we have to prove that there have been killings done in the name of vampire so the council will act." Jason said.

"Yes but it's not that easy. This group that is working here in the states have covered their tracks so well that it would take a decade to find something tangible to go to the council with." CallJosh said.

"Not really." Josh said.

Irina, Calli and Darw gave me a look.

"I was given God's hand that is why I believe I was led to drugs I was looking for a way to kill the pain I was in. I still see the guys that did it too me in my sleep Irina if I picture them could you possible tell me who they are?" Josh said.

"I might be able too." She said.

I closed my eyes and pulled the picture of them from my mind.

Then she started talking really fast and I could not keep up with her I knew something was wrong because Jason was picking me up and holding me on his lap growling. I placed a hand on his face and he turned to look at me his eyes where a fiery red as if he was going to kill someone.

"I take it that you all know who these people are." Josh said.

"Yes they were part of a house that was destroyed many centuries ago. They pleaded to the council that they knew nothing about what was going on and to be spared they are vampire." Irina said.
I felt my coffee start to slip from my fingers. Jason took the cup and placed it on the table behind us.

"I am sorry my prince." Jason said.

"It is not your fault." Josh said lying my head on his shoulder as I felt a part of me heal.

"I must go and tell the council. They'll want to know and maybe they will offer help and guidance to this." CallJosh said.

"Yes, I must go I am expected at the docks in a couple of hours." Darw said.

"Darw be careful take some guard with you." Jason said.

"I will, take care of little brother I will be back by sunrise." Darw said.

"I must go also I have some shopping to do. The council will want to see Josh and can't have him looking like he is from the sticks." Irina said.

"I love you all come back safely." Josh said still in Jason's arms.

"We will little brother. Jason we will have guard posted everywhere before we leave." Irina said as the three of them walked out.
